Good Morning Britain

A scathing indictment of Thatcher-era conservative Britain, "Good Morning Britain" was a rare political-themed composition for the otherwise dreamily romantic Aztec Camera, fronted by singer-songwriter extraordinaire Roddy Frame. Featuring ex-Clash legend Mick Jones on second vocals and additional lead guitar, "Good Morning Britain" actually managed to break into the Top 20 of the British singles chart way back in 1990. Check out the thoughtfully constructed video clip (look out for the clever background projections) here.
