Regret

Arguably the most underrated New Order single, 1993's "Regret" is a superior slice of synth-pop from the veteran post-punk collective, garnished with a typically Hook-y (as it was) bass line and some of Bernard Sumner's most inspired guitar riffs. It's also their last major single before the group imploded in a welter of creative differences and sheer boredom, until their reformation nearly a decade later. The video for "Regret" is as straightforward as New Order promos go, with generic shots of the band on holiday in sunny Rome.
